The Fox Forest Festival

After much thought and a little encouragement, I have decided to pull an ancient festival from the past to celebrate here among the new. The Fox Forest Festival is an ancient tradition from my clan celebrating the life of the forest and the bond between my species.

… of course, my clan is long gone, and it would be silly to invite only my kin, thus all are welcome. The same activities will occur, more or less however!

What activities, you ask? The festival is a very mischievous one, focusing not only on spending time with your dear friends, but playing tricks. Now, playing tricks with them or on them is entirely up to you, ohohoh…~!

The festival is intended to be a sleepover, with every guest staying at the residence of the host. That would be Celestial Tower, which I understand might frighten some…~! If that is the case, I will not consider it rude if you decide to stay elsewhere.

There will also be a hot spring visit, as long as I can find one, as well as the food and drinks you would expect from such an event!

The entire event starts March 1st and continues on to March 3rd. You are welcome to celebrate after that, if you wish~!

I will leave Hajime to explain some important details! Please ask of any questions you have for me.

Listen up, then. Since it is the fox festival, you will be receiving a fox mask. Not hard to understand, right? Good.

Each one is handmade and painted by yours truly, and I’m not a mind reader (not that you have a lot on your mind, anyway). You have to stop by not only so I know how many people are coming, but so I can get the measurements and the colors of your mask right.

I’m not here for small talk. I’m too busy to waste time with your drabbling. Tell me you’re coming, tell me your favorite color, and then get the hell out of here. Got it?

Oh, right. If you want to bring dates, go right ahead I guess. If you have a bunch of friends you want to set up a sleeping area with, I recommend you do that, too. You have plenty of time to figure it out, so don’t throw a tantrum.

There’s not much else to say to you, really. Pranking is encouraged, having fun is encouraged, and this is one of the only times you can be really loud without worrying about my liege biting off your head, so enjoy.

As for people who want to help set up the celebration…

We can always use more people to help hang lanterns and get people settled. I’m not expecting too many people, so it should be fine, though. 

If you know where a hot spring is, shoot it my way. Lord Eiji likes them. That’s everything, I think. If you have any questions don’t bother me. Ask Eiji.
